A few days before my son started preschool, I had my follow
up appointment. I was told by my
oncologist that the blood work was fine.
He said, “The x-ray showed a spot on my lungs.” I said, “What does this mean?” He said, “He wouldn’t know for sure until I
had a biopsy done.” He did say however
the good news is that the radiation killed the cancer in my neck. I had no cancer in that area whatsoever. He told me he would refer me to a wonderful
surgeon that will do the biopsy on my lungs.
I am just thinking great another doctor more surgery. I just finished some intense treatment that
had a major impact on my family life. I
don’t have time for this again; things were just getting back to normal.
